Principal Kieli Ferguson
Kieli Ferguson is a proud Cincinnati Public School graduate of Woodward High School-Cincinnati Academy of Math and Science. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Kentucky State University, a Middle School Math/Social Studies Teacher’s Certification from University of Kentucky and Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Miami University. This school year will mark her 22nd year in education, where she has served as instructional assistant, classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal and for the past 3 years, Interim Principal.
She considers herself to be a self-directed, organized, enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and learning experiences. She is skilled in the design of challenging, enriching and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students individually. Some of her successes are related to parental & community involvement, extracurricular involvement, facilitating training & development related to instructional strategies, classroom management, social/emotional learning and team building.
When she is not educating children and adults professionally, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and serving in leadership at her church. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her proudest moments are being the wife to honey do Neal, mother to 3 and grandmother to 5 and one on the way.
I believe that ALL children can learn at high levels! It is her goal that ALL children at NAM receive a high quality education where they are challenged to be the best versions of themselves, be able to adapt to their environments and become productive citizens in society. She looks forward to collaborating with each and everyone to accomplish her goal!
